Surface Preparation & Application
Preparation Steps
- Ready for immediate use—no additives allowed
- Surface must be clean, dry, free of loose parts, and degreased
- Completely remove glue-based and lime paints
- Never paint over lime paint
- Prime unpainted or worn surfaces appropriately
- Fresh cement-lime plaster: wait minimum 4 weeks
- Repair defects and cracks with cement mortar
- Stir carefully before painting
Application Process
- Can paint 3 days after diluted mineral plasters in insulation systems (if temp >+15°C)
- Apply 1-2 layers depending on substrate
- Second layer after first completely dry (minimum 12 hours)
- Use cross-application technique for second layer
- Plan breaks and joints in less visible areas
- Wash tools with water after work
- Application methods: brush, roller, or spray after appropriate dilution
